The only thing IMO the mnk has over controller is movement and that sometimes goes out the windows with how sticky is AA close range. Snapping your aim is mnk takes a lot of time to master because you need to find a dpi sweet spot that works for you but it is so satisfying lol

It depends on the range, in Close Range, you should be moving quite a lot, basically jamming your left stick. At Mid-Far Range, It should be smooth and subtle. I explain it here more in detail. 10:33

Thanks for this video. I have been a PC / M&K player for more than 20 years. I'm now forced to play with PS5 / controller because my PC doesn't run Warzone that well and I'm trying to learn how to use the controller, so this video helps a lot. I have noticed the rotational aim assist in my gameplay, but in the videos of some players I really see aimlocks straight to the center of an opponent and it sticks right on them untill the player goes dead/down, is that really aim assist practiced through and through or is that not legit?

If someone practices with Rotational Aim Assist enough and has Very Good Centering, it is quite easy to stay locked on a players torso/chest. Good Centering makes it to where you never have to make adjustments because your reticle is already on their body, so Rotational Aim Assist does the rest. This is especially the case in close range gunfights. Long Range it might be harder because the target is further away, and any minor adjustments might overshoot and break the aim assist. But then again, there are many cheaters in the KZbin/Tiktok field so it could actually be cheats. But you can tell by watching the reticle, if it almost flicks as it is tracking the EXACT same spot on the opponents body, thats usually a clear giveaway that they are cheating.

I’ve been doing so much reading and watching videos on RAA and centering , and I’m getting better at centering but I still don’t understand this at all lol. Everyone is saying to not stand still in fights, to strafe and move left and right etc. so say I turn a corner and I’m perfectly centered, and I come upon a guy and my crosshairs are already right on his chest, and I ADS and begin shooting, and he starts moving left or right . From what EVERYONE is saying, I’m supposed to NOT use my right stick ( the aiming stick…ffs so dumb, yeah, DONT use your aiming stick to aim 🤦‍♂️) … and to only use your left. How am I supposed to not use my right stick if he instantly moves to the left??? I have to use my right stick to follow him in whichever direction he moves, am I not??? My left stick is my moving stick it isn’t going to move my reticle over to where he goes???? I cannot fkn figure this out this is maddening bro

@@texasmade0109 Aim Assist is not going to do ALL of the work for you, if they are strafing left and right you will have to apply some amount of input on your right stick to follow them. But as long as you are moving left and right yourself, you will remain locked on them for the most part

Ok so when they move left or right, you’re not supposed to use your right stick to adjust your aim? How the fuck would that work lmao this is what I can’t stand about everyone saying how broken and overpowered it is. How the fuck are you supposed to aim by… stay with me… NOT using your AIMING stick…. wtf?!?! If I shot at someone and he strafed to the left, and I didn’t follow him with my right stick, and only used my left stick, and shot, I would miss every shot to the right lmfao. Because I didn’t use my aiming stick to move over for the left when he moved left. Please explain this to me because that makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE

You're not supposed to aim yourself as a controller user, let the game aim for you. Theres a bubble around your crosshair and inside that bubble your auto aim will pull towards the enemy as long as you are keeping rotational aim assist active.

If the enemy manages to snap away from your auto aim "bubble", then sure you need to use the aiming thumb stick to look in the general direction of the enemy again and then just let the rotational aim assist do its thing

Very true, as a person who loves M&K, Controller is superior in Warzone and COD. While there are amazing M&K players, a top 100 Controller player could beat the #1 M&K player just off of Aim Assist Alone. Anyone that thinks Aim Assist for Controller is not strong is delusional.

People who think that controller ISN‘T the superior input (In recent CoDs), typically do not understand what makes their input so much better than MnK. I have only ever heard „whomp whomp“ „cry about it“ „get better“ from horrible players with a sub 1 - 1.5 k/d. Every good controller player I‘ve met and 1v1‘ed said that controller dominates MnK and that controller is the easier input. It doesn’t matter what we say though, Activision has reached their goal of gathering as many bots as possible and making them believe they have some level of skill. Make them play a game of Bo2 and watch how their „skill“ disappears. In fact, let them play a game without aim assist and they‘ll maybe understand just how much they’re being carried by their AI aim assist engine that, in some instances, is as strong as an Aimbot program.

That being said - A 1.5k/d, especially in MP, isn’t bad at all if you consider, that SBMM and EOMM actively pushes people to have a 1k/d - But I think the message comes through. It‘s the average lil Timmy who refuses to understand the problem that makes this game barely playable for us MnK mains. And the average lil Timmy is about 90% of the entire player base..

@@noyou6271 absolutely. A high skill M&K player is always more impressive than a High Skill Controller Player just from Aim Assist Alone. I enjoy playing on controller but I do admit, its easy. Too easy even, you hardly have to adjust when shooting and you will still hit all torso shots most of the time. While M&K players have to rely 100% on their tracking skills ALL of the Time. Controller players use like 15% tracking, and 85% just aim assist.

Why doesn’t this work for me and my buddy. This doesn’t do this for us. I’ve watched videos and read on Reddit for days and nothing is working. Are y’all using air bot just be real cause this is driving me crazy I’m about to quit cod . I’ve never heard of this in 20 years of playing cod and now I’m seeing it and thinking is this why I lose so many gun fights?! Been watching videos on RAA all day now trying to figure it out. This is what I don’t understand. Everyone keeps claiming how strong and broken it is, and that it tracks for you. But you say in the video , “you wanna be moving so you break their aim assist… if you’re moving left and right they have to adjust their aim with right stick to stay on target…” why would they have to adjust left and right? I thought with RAA it tracks for you? So which is it? “it’s about how many u can dodge” they have RAA so shouldn’t their shit be sticking onto you? Idk, this is starting to get annoying . I’ve been playing call of duty since 2005 and am just now finding out about this shit. I can’t to work at all. The most I can do is get it to move and follow the dummy on the range like you did in the video, but that’s it. I can’t figure out how to “abuse it” like all yall talk about. I’m constantly losing gun fights by just a shot or 2, I’ll hit a ton on my enemy but he’ll just hit every single one, it’s like his shit just locks on and tracks to my every movement

And after nearly 20 years of moving with the left (moving stick…. ) and aiming with the right, you know the AIMING stick….. 🤦‍♂️, it’s so hard to unlearn that and to start aiming with left stick. Like I literally don’t even get it. How do you aim with your moving stick? That doesn’t even make any sense . Someone please help man .

@@texasmade0109 you should always wiggle your left stick left and right even while stationary so you can activate the aim assist, right stick should only be moved slightly down diagonal left or right for recoil control after placing your center dot on or as close as you can to the enemy, aim assist does the rest so try not fight it. Hope this somewhat help.

3:30 that’s what happens to me whether I use the left stick or not. Y’all are either using aimbot or cod is purposefully fucking me because my buddy and me don’t get that kind of assist or stick or tracking of any kind. Someone please help because I’m about to uninstall the game because that’s just flat out unfair if everyone else gets the assist but we don’t.
