Dear sis, you don't know how your vids have encouraged me and helped me in my most vulnerable times. I've been serving the Lord for almost 13 years now. Been active in the ministry since, I'm in our Worship team as a worship leader and pretty much involved in worship training. However I came to a point where I was so lost and the fire of passion for the Lord that I had seem to have grown dim. I can't sense any purpose anymore (probably because me and my family have been going through a lot during those times) . I knew what was happening, I just simply can't bring the fire back on my own - which gave me more revelation on His Word, "apart from Him we can do nothing" God has used your vids to help me come to that new level of intimacy with Him. There are times , I get very anxious especially now because I'm preparing for an exam . I try my best to go into the presence of God and pray to Him sincerely what I feel in my heart. There is a sense of peace , knowing it will be ok. He also tries to encourage me and keep reminding me that He is faithful to me and is for me not against me

Remember also that He commands us to have no fear and we are told to be anxious for nothing. The Bible also says we were NOT given a spirit of fear but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind. I find it most helpful to me to agree with God. I always run into problems when I do not agree with Him. Some verses: Joshua 1:9 Matthew 6:25-34 2 Timothy 1:7

@@citizendc9 Thanks, I've stopped listening to secular music. I'm still trying to cut off movies. They are powerful triggers but I've been trying and praying. I'm thinking of fasting, maybe it's what I really need. It's terrible, I want to do God's will, yet I keep having thoughts and flashes of images I've viewed in the past that tell me that I'm just terrible but when I pray, I get hope and strength to press on.

I will also relate the manner in which we dedicated ourselves to God when we had been made new through Christ; lest, if we omit this, we seem to be unfair in the explanation we are making. As many as are persuaded and believe that what we teach and say is true, and undertake to be able to live accordingly, are instructed to pray and to entreat God with fasting, for the remission of their sins that are past, we praying and fasting with them.
