This video has changed my life. My whole outlook on everything that exists in this world, in fact even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way ever again. This video represents emotions most humans could never comprehend. But I can. Thanks to this video I have been awakened to many things previously thought unimaginable. I am now motivated to study. Thank you.

Thank you for this video! I’ve been focusing on myself a lot lately whilst trying to read practice questions properly because I got a D in law for this flaw. But yeah, this video has been helpful to further understand why I shouldn’t give up on increasing my predicted grade (as well as increase the grades for my exams) to get into my dream university even if getting an A* is hard. I should actually revise now. I hope that you and everyone watching this will achieve their ambitions! C: -Never gonna give our goals up, never gonna let them down…now I say goodbye-

I’ve just started year 12, how much do you recommend revising now half a term in? I work on the weekends and find it very difficult to balance homework, revision and work
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
I also worked part time on the weekends during sixth form so understand your view. It does take a lot of your time and can be draining at times. If you notice it starts affecting your studies, then I would recommend asking them to either change your hours, reduce them, or if possible then consider alternatives to the job if necessary and if you can afford to do that. For homework, I would always recommend doing it as soon as possible, this may be during the journey home, or as soon as your get home. For revision, find a method and plan that works for you and try doing it in your free time. If you require more time, then you can wake up early or spend more of your free time dedicated to doing it, it really depends on your situation and what you want to get out of it. It doesn't really matter how long you revise for but I would try to do some every day, even if it is reading over a topic you have covered or going through corrections in a paper. Do it until you are satisfied and understand what you intended to learn and you will see improvements. Hope this has helped.

@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
I understand how you feel! I also found Yer 13 so much harder but its really important to keep going and to believe you can do it. It also takes a lot of getting used to and everything sort of overwhelms you at once which can be very stressful but it does get better throughout. Think of the end goal and your long summer holiday after exams. Everything you do now is to get those A-levels finished and once you understand that fully, you can just think of doing one thing at a time. Just think of your next step and you'll get through it!

In year 13 for bio and chem- did you bother going over AS papers i did many for year 12 exams and i know theyre much easier than alevels- theres lot of alevel new spec and old spec papers would you just recommend that or doing as papers too
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
I think that AS papers could be useful if you are focusing on specific topics in year 12 which you struggled on but I would first go through as many Year 13 papers as possible, trying other exam boards if necessary because they can be quite similar depending on the subject

What sort of time you reckon is needed to start achieving As following ur tips?
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
It depends on how much work you do really as everyone will have different expectations and results, everyone will also be doing different things in terms of studying. I would recommend adjusting anything I say to suit yourself as I am only giving my advice which has worked for me so I would try it out and if it doesn't work after a while, then change it. I would say that if you are starting in Year 12, it normally takes months to get used to the new style of exams and nearer the end of the year you will be doing much better in terms of results.

Relative was going to do dentistry but seems the good days of high salary are behind US. Only seems good in US. What salary are you hoping to achieve?
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
I'm not really thinking of the exact salary yet but starting salary will range and you can find lots of info online. The US definitely pay more in some aspects but it really depends once again. I believe you can make a success out of anything and my main driving force isn't the financial aspect but it does come with its advantages.

My dream is to study mathematics at Oxford uni , can you give me some advices ? And thanks for this video 🙏
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
Oxford is a tough uni to get into so you’ll need to do a lot of work! I’m sure there are many videos and websites which specifically targets Oxbridge but the basis is all the same. You’ll need a very strong passion in maths and you’ll need to do a lot of extra curricular to prove it and develop your skills. You want to try and stand out so doing as much as possible will give you the most exposure. Then you will have entrance exams which you’ll need to prepare for to get interviews. Do research and find out more info from there!
