How To Achieve Cinematic Quality With Your Phone - Iphone 15 Pro | Apple Prores Log 4k

We traveled to Switzerland with our newly acquired iPhone 15 Pro and shot a soothing travel vlog. It turns out that today's smartphone video quality can rival that of a dedicated camera. If you want to document your life without lugging around heavy camera gear, you might want to give the new iPhone 15 Pro a try. For this trip, we shot entirely handheld, using the iPhone's built-in camera app and the ProRes LOG mode. In fact, all you need is a bit of color grading skill to achieve a cinematic look comparable to that of a large DSLR camera. Towards the end of the video, we also shared our shooting experience and provided a color grading LUT file for everyone to use, free of charge

What kind of cable were you using from iPhone 15 Pro to the SSDs? If you were using a random USB-C to USB-C cable, there's a good chance that cable was the culprit of dropped frames. Please consider using the highest quality USB-C cable; an Intel certified Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 cable. Only Thunderbolt cables are truly certified to provide sustained 40gb/s of throughput. Eventhough iPhone 15 Pro only outputs Gen2 10gb/s speed, you need a cable that has more headroom to handle massive amount of thoroughput. Most of the USB4 or USB-C cables on Amazon have dishonest specs because USB-IF couldn't regulate these random sellers. You can test this theory with an Apple Thunderbolt 4, 1.0m cable. (or any other reputable Thunderbolt cables). Compare the differences and let us know if Thunderbolt cables eliminated dropped frames from your videos.
