Good Q! Here is my understanding. Blake has series of lectures about “diverse tongues”, and talks about sermons by John G.Lake. He there compares tongues with dynamo. IOW the imagery is to speak tongues and pump into your soul your experience of Spirit’s work in you, like a battery gets loaded. Then after you release this power just by your decision. Note - Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 1 Cor 14 teaches that praying in Spirit includes speaking in tongues.

Christians must never practice yoga. It is not exercise. Yoga means yoke. You are yoking with a Hindu god. Each pose is worship to a different god. Actually a demon.
