@Grey Man Thanks for honesty. Everyone has a different opinion I guess. I am one who sticks with a phone for a while. I recently upgraded from the note 3 probably one of the best notes from the past. I loved it. My opinion is I'm amazed how much I like the note 9 so far. To be fair all phones have some glorified parts or options that just amount to marketing. I think folks fail to realize the marketing hype and wind up with over expectations and a sense of letdown.

When i saw you had "package disabler" installed, I thought it would be part of achieving that "beast mode" status! But you didn't mention it? I use it on my Note9 to disable a bunch of stuff that normally won't be disabled using the normal method. Anyway, thanks for the video and keep it up! I for one, wanted the note previously, but I waited (largely due to the battery issues), (if you turn fast charging option off, it will ward off those battery demons, and will also help to extend your battery life!) and im glad I did. I love the Note9! absolutely love it! call the stylus what you want, but it definitely helps with productivity, and the ability to write live messages, draw on picture (without using your stubby fingers!) is great!. well chuffed

I bought the unlocked 512GB model, no bloatware to uninstall or disable. From the tips you mentioned, the only thing I did was reduce the animations time. I actually set the resolution to max and added some apps to be put to sleep always. Good video nonetheless.

Can you benchmark the phone before and after to prove this actually does something? I'm getting 8.6 hours of screen on time and I haven't touched any settings or deleted any "bloatware". That's at .25 brightness running nav the whole time in the background , power save off. I'm getting 7.5 hours using the phone normally. How much more "beast" do you need?

What I do is completely clean the phones cache,otherwise go into apps and clean it out,it helps with apps to run smoothly,apps you use a lot and update more, clean the cache out.

Just a little warning I just did this and now things on my phone screen are flashing and turning green and being weird, everything still works fine (I think). The navigation bar is flashing or turning green now, battery percentage, edge bar, a bar at the top of the phone and any transitions from apps or anything it flashes green. (This happened after I turned the animations and everything to .5 instead of the tradition 1.0. So id recommend not touching it, at least for now. Edit: Opening up or closing messenger heads makes the entire screen flash green Edit: Tried to switch it back but it was still flashing green so I restarted it and it seems to be working as normal?
