I have a fix. Been through this before on my S20+. Learn how to change CSC code on samsung with FW Tools. Basically s20ultra is one phone, but there is a code called COUNTRY SPECIFIC CODE. It helps lock and open different functions based on regions. S20 ultra of China is different S20 US, but same phone. Simply this is called spoofing. Keep changing the CSC till the option is available.

The issue is caused when your phone is out of its designed region. Or not meant be sold where you bought it. Maybe it's an African model or a China model. If they sold in US, they would have that issue

the answer is that my phone doesnt support esim. there are differences between specific sub models (not sure about the term they call it) even though the "main" model is called a54.
