Focus on one thing at a time, and the next time you fight just tell yourself that tip the whole time you’re fighting. Also some people find that it helps to write what they learn down and just have that on their desk while they play

Pros are really bad at teaching because everything they know is intuitive they may not actually have the analytical ability to understand what exactly their doing that makes them better than everyone else.
