Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a KZbinr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame- ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

I have worked with quite large beauty companies and I honestly feel like I have been taken advantage of after watching this. For me, my biggest struggle is to get laughed at on my videos by friends and family, but if potentially millions of people are going to watch my videos, those few friends, family, and colleagues won't mean anything. Another example, I hiss, and I'm very self-aware of it, but nobody ever says anything about it to me. So the biggest beef with it lives inside my head.

I think especially LA natives have a distorted view on wealth and privilege because they be going to school with Madonna’s daughter who rolls up in Lamborghini and they riding in a Toyota. But they fail to recognise that even attending the same school as these rich kids, already indicates a certain class and access. U ask me why it matters, well she brought it up?? I dont want to discredit her hard work but much of what originally made her channel appealing can be directly linked to her privilege/class. For example, in this video she speaks about the importance of the presentation of your living arrangements. That it should look aspirational. And I distinctly remembered watching her videos long before she blew up and admiring how spacious he bedroom seemed and how high her ceiling was - This was her parents house. Privilege. She also used to upload a lot of dance/flexibility + ice skating content. This set her apart, and made her come across as a unique quirky character. But to train as a gymnast already and figure skater is hella expensive. Privilege once again. Again I don’t want to discredit her hard work but I thought it was odd and unnecessary for her to downplay the privilege she did have in that way.
