Did this for my sister's headphones, worked a treat! thank you for the tutorial. We accidentally placed the disk the wrong way round, but easy enough to flip over and then attach properly:)

thanks for this tutorial! i was able to replace my ear cushions perfectly for the first time. i could add some other things that could be useful though. 1) you can pull on the threads of the cushion cover on the electronics side easily so that you won't have to cut the old cushion. this is just for a cleaner base for the new cushions. 2) you can leave the old fabric that says L and R on the plastic so that could be a guide for the new cushions if you want it to look right way up. This also serves as an easy guide for clipping the plastic back to the headphones.

Thank you for making this video. This helped me a lot. I have seen the other videos but this video answered my question/s I had in replacing the cushion of my JBL TUNE 600 BTNC.
@dada_doll35443 жыл бұрын
Hi uh is there any way im able to replace the foam that's placed on the top of the headphones? The foam/cushion that goes along the headband. Btw my headphones are JBL TUNE500BT, the quality is good but the material of the cushion is poor.

Until now, I've never tried to replace that one. The process seems to be more complicated, so IDK how to do it, unfortunately. Perhaps one day when my tune600 dies for good, I'll try it.

Quick question are the ear pads for jbl 500 compatible for the 600btnc?
@vinnt_tnniv Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay Yes, they are compatible These cushions are circular, and come in a default size Oddly shaped headphones such as the LIVE-650BT need proprietary cushions, but the TUNE 600 and TUNE 500 have pretty default shapes, so yes, you can sneak in any circular padding

qualquer almofada de headphone JBL serve pro 600btnc? obrigado pelo vídeo!!
@vinnt_tnniv3 жыл бұрын

thanks for tips bro but I did remove old cushions from ring without cutting so there's no leftovers glue is not that strong
@vinnt_tnniv3 жыл бұрын
There's no need to use glue If you have cushions that are the same size (fortunately, this headphone has a standard size), you can just fit the fabric of the cushion around the plastic ring. The glue is an extra, but the plastic ring clip will hold it in place. To have an ideia, watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnuThKqaqbCLZrc the way this guy is fitting the cussion on the headphone speaker, you'll have to do it with the plastic ring. It's a bit hard, but you can do it

where cani buy the jbl600 cushions? i don't need them to be originals.
@vinnt_tnniv3 жыл бұрын
IDK if the ones I bought are originals yknow. I just went to the first result when searching for it, and bought the ones whose seller had the best reviews (I'm Brazilian, so I bought it from Mercado Livre, but you can find those on Amazon as well). As long as they have the same shape and size, you'll be fine. The first time I swapped, it was with an old pair of non-branded cussions. Also, the ones that are (or at least look like) original ones make the sound isolation and ANC work way better, they don't slip from your head so easily, and for me, they're more comfortable

Thanks for the video. My question to friends who tried, is there any changing or worsening in sound quality?
@vinnt_tnniv3 жыл бұрын
No. actually, it improves. As sound quality, the speakers remain the same, no change on that. What may change is the noise cancelling. The active noise cancelling works better if the passive noise cancelling work as well. If the cussions are too old/used, they might not cancel any noise. I suggest you to buy JBL cushions because they fit better, and have better passive cancelling, that is, saying from my own experience. I am not a sound engineer or anything. I just say what I know.

KZbin is a big baby when it comes for outside links, and because of location, region, and everything else, I can't exactly say "go here. this website good", so I don't put these links here.
