Hey i actually think u didnt include one of the most importent things. Im now Dia what startet get me out of silver/gold was knowing when to back for buying items, like when can i go to base to buy a 1300g item, when is a good back and when not. I think its really really underrated. nice vid!

@@UMessis That's not what he meant dude, it's not about not being able to do math to know when you have enough gold to back and buy, it's about the actual back timing in relation to the minion wave position, and your enemy's backs. You don't wanna overstay in your lane if you killed someone and they come back with an item advantage, or if they come back and you are forced to back while they take full advantage of your absence to crash minion waves into your tower denying your xp and getting free plate gold/dmg.

@Dqrkness you have to know good first buys on your champion, so you know when to start looking to push in the wave and try back on cannon waves, since its hard to crash them fully before you come back.

@Dqrkness usually if you get a kill on someone and you haven't backed, even though you have gold and xp advantage, you will be fucked because they have full resources and item advantage since they were able to buy even if their gold was less, so after a takedown on your laner don't waste too much time pushing tower take 1 plate max and recall, sometimes it's not even worth taking a plate

@@josephbolt6203 I can second this. Most high elo players will suggest for you to back after you get a kill, as soon as possible. Doesn't matter if you're healthy or not; just back. Always take advantage of your enemy's absence.

The best tip I ever got for this game is learning when and how to Dodge. Even in lower elp, I was told by a friend "if the win rate is 30% or below, Dodge. 3 LP is a lot less then 20 LP" Climbed from bronze to high gold so fast. Still got alot to learn but your guides are helping me a lot thank you

Dodging is actually insane. I think I had a 90% winrate and was a hardstuck gold player in Diamond/Challenger games. I dodged so much that all my promos would skip, but my LP rarely went up.

I was top 10 yu gi oh 2014 online and there was virtual rock paper scissors to decide who went first (Everyone played rabbits and inzektors but I was running my own deck I made) I had an excell sheet on everyone's rock paper scissors frequencies since going first was a win in that meta Master tier and challenger players will and should have this type of mind set and work ethic to climb; it's what sets people apart at that level

Dont play ADC unless you duo with supp or jgl =climb. ADC is worst role to climb with and will remain to be that way in s10. Supp gets stronger gets even more agency while adc will be supps bitch for even longer and now will be lvl 3 while enemy talon or zed lvl 6 . God i hate myself for liking marksmen champs

I'm really curious to hear what you have to say, regarding the most Team-dependant role... How can you climb as a Support main? You can put your team into position to win the game, but if they dont press buttons then you cannot carry by yourself no matter what

In high helo there is no role who can "carry by himself no matter what". You climb by being consistent, there are a lot of unwinnable games for mid just like support.

Yes whenever I get filled support it doesn't matter how many nice roams I get off or how hard I snowball botlane I still loose those games so my support winrate is like sub30% but then again sometimes I see a support Smurf with like 60+% winrate and without duoq so they do something I clearly don't.

@@simkont6793 I'm a D2 Soraka OTP and I can reach pretty consistently Plat with about 80% winrate solo. My "trick" in low elo is that I am so good at positioning and trading in lane that I can singlehandedly zone the enemy botlane 1v2 after I hit level 2-3. This is very important because your ADC (unless he is D3 or better... yes D4 still sucks hard!!) will be too afraid to step up and help zoning. Of course, your ADC will be thinking that he is THE SHIT because he is like 40 CS up. Sadly, he doesn't realize that it's not him being good at farming but it's his Support being good at zoning. To be able to play in such way, you need to be very good at dodging skillshots (1 Morg Q, Lux Q, Thresh Hook) and you threw away all your lead. Also you need to be constantly aware where the enemy Jungler is. If he is botside, you need to know when to back off and allow the enemy ADC to farm. To be honest, I don't use Soraka below Plat anymore because I struggle to carry the game after the 20 minute mark (even if your Gold ADC is 10/0 there is still a chance that he will randomly facecheck a bush and throw the whole game). Below Plat, I'm playing full AP Janna with the Comet/Domination build because it's super easy to win the lane (just fly over to enemy ADC when he is making a last hit and hit your W + Autoattack (for the Cheap Shot Proc)) because the Silver-Gold Supports are too bad to retaliate. Do this like 5-7 times and you are in the position to oneshot the ADC with a Q + W + Ignite + some Autos (I take Nimbus Cloak instead of Manaflow Band in my runes, so that I have an even higher unexpected burst after I flash => because MS transforms into magic damage on Janna). After that, just rush Mobi Boots and keep ganking Top and Mid. I'm usually about 5/0/5 at the 20 minute mark and have stuff like Luden's Echo and a 10-15 stack Mejai's at that point. Most people in Gold underestimate the damage of Full AP Janna and they still try to fight you, so you just kill them of bait them into a 1v2. If things get tough, you can always use your ult to escape. That's pretty much everything summed up. There is no magic or hidden talent behind this approach. I just ping a lot and I have mastered trading in botlane. Oh, and of course /mute all every game because your ADC has no idea how to play the game and will just flame you all the time, meanwhile ending up with a third of the damage of a Janna support =/ Or you know, just play the classic Zyra/Brand/Xerath stuff and 1-shot everybody. But I always felt more like an Enchanter main, so I rarely do that :)

PRO TIP FOR LOW ELO MIDS! PLAY MORGANA. She clears the wave with e, has a ton of damage, and can cc lock people to death. NOTE: Morgana mid may teach you some bad habits the higher you climb like wave management. However, as long as you are willing to play her until like gold/plat, she will help teach you how to engage and what team fights are good to start.

My challenger friend told me the best thing I can do midlane is get just enough cs to where you are on par with your games where you stomp, and then focus on helping team every opportunity you get. Especially in low elo where fights will happen whether or not you are there. It's easy to blame team for not being challenger level and waiting for your powerspike, but that's just because it's low elo. You need to play differently in low elo than in high elo, you can't play on principle, you need to read the game and your team's intentions.

When it comes to innovation, there were videos where it was Apdo and somebody else, I think it was a pro, who said that in general, innovation comes from the lower elos. Since the higher elos just copy what's best, they said that it was typically bronze to gold (back then) who actually found the better items precisely because in the lower elos they experiment. He cited one occasion where it was a gold player who actually first started playing a certain build on ezreal that then became meta.

Yasuo is s tier mid laner and much better for climbing than most other mir laners. It is Not like you play c tier azir in Diamond and could just swap to an s tier champ which made you climb higher if you mastered him

Depends champ u push ur wave u make roam when bot pushing or bot in trouble or you have losing matchup mid its your first mission

90% of the ppl watching the whole video and actually learning something from it are probably dia+. Sad but lowelo players are low elo players cuz they don't put enough effort into it.

This is the exact mentality which you can get diamond atleast. Don't care about rank, just care about the game, that's it. Ofc it's a long term thing and you have to play ranked for it.:D But i understand why you don't, not everyone likes to compete.

Hey thank you Neace this is amazing. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. If you could cover simple concepts that might be easy for you but is something that maybe a lot of people including me struggle with. For example: keeping high cs the whole game (including lower elo where people love to just fight) or objective orders and when to do them throughout the game. Thanks for the great content!

I guess one thing about the "preemptively dodging" is actually dodging perpendicular to them instead of diagonally thats important. If you "dodge" diagonally unless they wiff they still most likely hit.

This both makes me feel good as a diamond midlaner but also shows me what I need to improve. I'm just stuck in the mindset that I cannot and don't want to get better than diamond. That I just don't have the aptitude or flexibility. The fact is that I just stopped having the will to improve. Used to go up a tier per season, then got stuck in plat for multiple seasons. Hit diamond but didn't really improve because I peaked P1 every season anyway. Feel like I should probably take up a coaching sesh but my ego is too big and I just have an overall bad attitude.
