15 minutes of aim training, followed by 5 or 6 matches of reload and then buckle down and go into BR... I found that a few matches of reload, gets me really warmed up.... 1v1s are huge too... since you mentioned it on another video, my son and I will go into a 1v1 and he'll wreck me for a few I'll get a few in and it's helped big time.... Thanks for the video, Kevin...

Great Video Kev. This is a debate that has existed between me and several of my friends when it comes to the importance of aim training. I know many that do it constantly. Between games in a tournament, between ranked games, 30 minutes before they get on. They are dreaming of little floating balls in their sleep, and if you enjoy doing aim training then hey I am all for it. Play whatever you want that brings you enjoyment and refreshment that is what games are for. But the more i talked to elite ZB players or heard others ask them about what they do for aim training the more i kept hearing "nothing", " I don't", " for a controller player your sensitively matters more than hours in a aim training map", the more I realized they all can't be wrong and the majority of the guys I know preaching aim training, some of them on YT don't have a single dollar earned in this game from competitive play. And I saw guys I know more or less agonizing over their improvement to the point where in my eyes it felt they they were talking all the fun out of something that is supposed to be a escape from drudgery and life. Aim training and 2 v 2 grinding became like a chore for them and they admitted at times it felt like that. You have just validated what I have spent months telling people. If you think warm up routines and aim training before you play helps then by all means go for it. If you are like our pal Zarraxus and you enjoy hours of aim training each day then by all means go for it, but if you are grinding all of it because you hope it will give you a desired result then you are wasting your time and adding so much extra stress to your life that should exist in a in something that is supposed to be a enjoyment

The biggest tip that improved my aim massively is from TobyWanShinobi he stated that aiming with your eyes instead of your crosshair will improve your aim so i implemented it and focusing on your enemy not your crosshair is the most important thing about having good aim your hand-eye coordination will do the work for you im playing on a pc with keyboard and mouse and a bonus tip from me is getting a good mouse pad or a mouse mat i've been playing on a wooden desk for over 3 years got a good quality hydrophobic non slip mouse mat this christmas and after my first game on it my aim was magnetic and so smooth without the imperfections of the desk caused by my cats and daily use of it this kind of surface isn't the best for your mouse sensor and i highly recommend getting a mouse pad or a mouse mat depending on your desk size, available space and sensitivity.

A lot of people recommend the Voltaic benches, but I've found aiming in Fortnite to go against the grain. For example, when playing Pasu, they say never lead or let the target come to you, but often, in Fortnite, we have to because we need the bloom bubble to be at its smallest for maximum accuracy. I found playing in The Pit ZB and focusing on the weapons in rotation to be a massive help or any FFA map where you'll be aiming most of the time. Avoid gimmicks and just get a feel for all weapons. Guns like the Twin Mag AR, Holo, Mammoth for example are great for working on that raw aim and mouse control and I've found that they're raw enough that I don't need to run external aim trainers. I set myself challenges like 50 kills using only tracking weapons, then doing the same for dynamic clicking weapons while learning the weapons characteristics.

I have to say as a controller player that has played each and every Fortnite season for 7 years that overtime I started tweaking my sensitivity myself and never once looked at a guide and I have the perfect sensitivity for me and that’s even with advanced settings on one tip I have is use linear curve rather than exponential I don’t know why but it just seems more snappy and faster compared to exponential, also I do have a fast sense I believe its 8++ or 9++ with advanced settings on cause trust me you don’t want low sensitivity for a game like Fortnite

holy moly bro, ur content now if just FIRE!! another amazing video! i have one doubt tho, i should start the 360 from the middle of my mouse pad or i should go edge to edge??? from edge to edge i go a lil under 360, im already unreal in solo ranked but should i increace my sens anyways?? thanks for all the tips bro!!

Would love to know which weapons to hip shot off of versus ADS (both short and far range), and the pitfalls of some. For instance for pitfalls, fire mask seems to miss a lot when I thought it had a honing mechanism to it (they seem to be able to jump it all the time)

I like warming up which is b arguably just as important as training aim. Sure something like pit will get you better to be game ready but i always start aim training to get my shot both ar and shotty nice and ready.

Just Play The new raider464 map for aim. Then go to the pit zero build camp on this walls and only shoot long range Ar to practice it. Then go zero build 1v1

Took me about a year to really dial in my settings and I agree it’s totally personal to the player I’m a pc controller player PS5 aim custom controller also I’m a claw player and for example my sense is at 5 for both and I’m unreal in reload but my buddy thinks my sense is too slow so it’s really what is right for you if your hitting your shots then don’t cave too the oh that’s too slow blah blah blah good movement with the sense that’s right for you is where it’s at but again just one man’s opinion

I think aim trainers are good for beginners. In my experience I did improve a lot when I start using aim trainers but I also did a lot of fast phasing creative maps so I feel more confortable fighting other players. So it was a combination of both.

All this aim training routines and warm up routines and all this is just crap to be honest. There are several streamers who are the top of the top players who never done any aim training or any routines ever, even in zero build, just take Prospering for example. The best way to improve in fortnite is to play fortnite period, you learn by playing and you learn by mistakes and your aim and movement and awareness and everything will improve once you play 100, 1000, 10.000 etc.... matches... Of course some things might help you understand and improve certain aspects better like watching pro players play will help you understand more situations and get better at recognizing scenarios and what to do in certain situations etc... but ultimately the best way to improve in ANYTHING in life is to DO THAT EXACT THING. The best way to improve and be good at fortnite is PLAY FORTNITE. The only 2 things that I actually would ever advise to help apart from actually plying the game is not routines or aim training but perhaps -Watch pro players from time to time will help you a bit in your thinking, awareness, decision making etc -Playing specific maps meant for fighting like the 2v2 rapid in this video or similar will help you improve your aim, fighting etc... since you are playing the same fighting scenarios as ingame just alot of them in a short time
