Picked up the guitar for the second time when lockdown hit middle of last year, got way further with it this time round by following a lot of the advice mentioned in this video. Definitely a great time to pick up an instrument again. I hope this is the year I can finally get bloody barre chords down!

Kurt your tip videos are always so funny and also helpful!! I can't stop giggling lol! You're so right about 'Pick it up'. Once I pick it up I tend to play more. Now I just need to find a way to fit my guitar into my tiny fridge...

At age 50. I realized the quicker you stop to understand something and just follow the easier difficult tasks become. Follow this advice too the T and you will play in less than a year. Thank you for your tips.

I'm almost 18 months in to my learning journey, and I constantly wonder why my chords don't sound as good as KZbinr X :D I've probably averaged 1.5 hours a day of practicing/playing with only a few days off in those 18 months. I know I should take more days off, but I'm addicted to the darn thing.

Bro,how are you practicing

You just be leaning your guitar back towards you so the chord shape can be seen. Instead of straight up and against you. Plus, when you have your chord shape made and on the correct strings and frets. Push your wrist out a little. It'll help put the strings on your fingertips..

If your a begginer. And want to leave your guitar out in the open. Buy a cheaper one because humidity or lack of can destroy an exspensive all solid wood guitar. Because you want to keep those in their case with humidity paks..
