The wobbly frequency shifter technique happens because your creating intentional phase cancellation. What a 50% mix frequency shifter does is it essentially plays the original and a slightly pitched version on top of each other. If the difference is small enough (like 15 hz like you have here) the peaks and troughs of the two waves will cancel and add in different places, creating a wobble effect. It’s kinda like when you play two sine waves really low a half step apart, but you can apply it to any effect on the planet. I love this technique and have used it for a while.

Yeah it's really useful Try playing a c major chord then a d major (with a g as well) then a E minor chord it adds a lot to a really simple chords progression

The phasing on the freqshifter happens bc freq shifting is just ringmod but with the carrier signal's phase shifted by 180 degrees (which cancels out the downwards sideband), so when the dry signal is blended with the phase shifted carrier signal is being modulated at sub 20Hz, all that's happing is the phase shifted signal has a tremolo applied to it so the phasing gets modulated in and out

Great work on the remix. I've always learned from experimentation but watching your video makes me think I'd benefit from seeing some other people's tricks, such as the vocal blur you did with edison. Kinda funny cause I've ran into that same Freqshifter/phaser quirk too. Must be a characteristic of freqshifters in general as both my hardware and software ones do this. But yea, most of my music right now is just me goofing off and having fun.
