Since when kyurem needed actual care ? It is a legendary pokemon. It’s a legendary dragon type pokemon. It can control it’s own powers. It can fused with zekrom and reshiram with the dna splicers. So kyurem doesn’t need actual care. And kyurem is not physically weak. Just an incomplete dragon. It doesn’t freezes itself because it is a dragon/ice type. So it’s body is already frozen after splitting from it’s original dragon form. Once gen 5 remakes comes out. We will see the original form of kyurem. We shall call it original kyurem. It will be pure dragon type in it’s original form with an ability that raised ice, electric and fire type moves. We need the original dragon form of kyurem. Because it is supposed to be the strongest dragon type pokemon as mentioned in the movie. So kyurem doesn’t need actual care. It’s already powerful in the movie in it’s base form.

@@anafu-sankanashi8933 I doubt that all of them actually only carry 2-4 pokemon. They probably only battle with that many so that they have backup on the way to the center. It’s kinda cool to think what taking care of Pokemon would be like, since so many animals irl require odd care. Like some animals beaks and nails need constant trimming, some have INSANELY specific diets, and so many people wouldn’t care for them. It makes me wonder if certain Pokémon would only be kept by the best trainers because of their dietary needs and constant attention lol

This video actually explains why most trainers in the games have very few pokémon on them when they travel. It's not cheap to take care of them all so some trainers focusing on one type or species type makes it easier. Like the Hiker trainers are really good with rock types because they insure they live in environments their pokémon like and is full of natural minerals for them to eat.

Honestly, all this video did was reaffirm exactly why I hold a genuinely great amount of respect for the Main characters of the anime, especially Ash and Brock. Ash regularly trains and cares for a full team of Pokémon, dealing with all their individual needs and even certain mental issues that are unique to that Pokémon in particular(Infernape’s blackout rampages, Incineroar’s trauma of losing its parental figure Stoutland, Pignite’s inferiority complex towards its own worth as a Pokémon thanks to its former trainer, hell, his Charizard was abandoned by its former trainer and left to die in the rain), along with him regularly caring for the Pokémon from every egg he’s ever received, and ensuring that all of his Pokémon are treated fairly and with respect, never pressuring them to evolve early nor forcing them to fight till exhaustion(they do it, but only because they want to do it, not because he forced them to). Meanwhile with Brock, he doesn’t simply know about the stuff in this video alone. He actively knows the proper care and diet for practically every Pokémon species, understanding what they need to have and what they need to avoid. The man is pretty much a professionally trained veterinarian, zookeeper, and biologist all rolled into one person. That’s not even mentioning the fact that the coordinators like Dawn, May, and Serena all know the proper make-up and cleaning products that are safe for their Pokémon, especially regarding the fact that animals require different products depending on the species, so if we associated Pokémon with the animals they resemble, this means they keep track of practically dozens of different products to use for each specific Pokémon. It’s honestly amazing how people call the trainers in the anime bad when they literally have to take care of living creatures, they aren’t just developing a computer program or a toy, but a living being that has its own needs besides training, plus the fact that they fight in real time, so it is nowhere near as simple since the foe will not wait for you to decide your next move, meaning you have to make every decision in a split-second.
@narxmagee727

This is a big component to why I love the anime and still watch it. It feels like the Pokemon are actually living, breathing creatures. They have feelings, personalities, problems, likes, dislikes and so much more. It's also why I have so much respect for Ash and friends. They want their Pokemon to be the best they can be. They treat them like equals and the Pokemon's choice matters. If they want to evolve, that's great. If not, that's okay too. It boggles my mind when people call the protagonists bad trainers when a bad trainer is someone who doesn't bring the best out of a Pokemon or doesn't tend to it's need. These guys are great trainers. They treat Pokemon with respect and want them to be truly great. They show what Pokemon is all about and they have become a big inspiration for me. I may not evolve a Pokemon or two because I feel they don't need it or want to cause they're happy where they are or I'll give them personalities based off their natures. It's really hightened my enjoyment of Pokemon immensly and I definitely respect the anime more for it.

@@narxmagee727 I like that! The first Pokémon that I got attached to, my Sinnoh starter, Turtwig (now a Torterra), has an impish nature and is mischievous. I made him into a sweet but silly boy that, for a while, didn't really understand when to stop fooling around. As an adult Torterra he's matured and knows when to be serious, and has become the type of Pokémon that younger team members would go to for advice. Deep down though, he's still a sweethearted goofball and still loves to play, and he's not afraid to show it. It'll always be kind of funny to me that my "official" first Pokémon has that specific nature and characteristic, since I was the polar opposite as a kid playing Diamond. XD

@@GoldLeafGardenia Oh I remember my Sinnoh starter Chimchar (now an Infernape) had a bold nature. So I decided to have it be the battle hardy Pokemon, always ready for a good match. He was a bit cocky and could show off at times but he knew when to take things seriously for the most part, especially after evolving. Very valuable member to the team.

the lore very heavily implies each species of pokemon has totally different needs, to the point that specific products and training would be needed to be able to properly care for every single species. this idea would work better for a series focusing on one pokemon at a time. maybe even one type at a time, but you'd still need to cover lots of specific cases.

I loved the video and decided to share some tips with my favorite pokemon, anorith. Water quality is key, and why they struggle outside of captivity. Anorith's water must have high oxygen content, and can be bought at specialty pokemon care stores. For feeding, it enjoys live prey such as soft-bodied tynamo (a favorite of many of my anoriths) or shelled creatures it can break open for enrichment such as wimpod. Just make sure they have weak points, as anorith's claws can break if it tries to shatter something too hard. For entertainment several toys such as empty shells and balls should be around its tank. Anorith are not social in the wild, and will mistake each other for food and attack if cohabiting. Anorith can survive out of water, but water should be run over it's back regularly to help it breathe, and even more water to moisten its eyes, as anorith lacks eyelids. Carry your anorith when out, as it cannot move very well out of water. Letting it sit on your head or in your bag is ideal, although in dryer climates getting a wheeled tank is recommended. Dewpider and araquanid can also help a lot, and get along well with anorith. Finally, something many novice trainers don't know is that anorith's mouth is on its underside, not the front. If hand-feeding, let your anorith hold the food in its claws so it can move the food into its mouth. Let me know if I missed anything or you have any questions!

Fusing it with Solgaleo or Lunala is usually enough to make sure it has a constant light source for it to be okay in dark places, but an even better idea would be to transform it into its Ultra Burst form as it's that form in which the pain goes away.

A couple more: Banette's ghostly energy escapes if its zipper opens, which could result in injury to others or even the "death" of the Pokemon itself if the energy animating it doesn't return. Haunter's saliva contains a powerful paralytic, so here's hoping they don't show affection by licking the way a lot of real animals do! Scizor is super vulnerable to heat, having a 4x weakness to fire because of its typing. It regulates its body temperature by beating its wings, so trainers should monitor their Scizor's condition closely by watching their wings. If it's beating them really fast, it's probably starting to overheat, so the trainer should return it to its Pokeball and/or move it somewhere colder. (Loved this video by the way!)

I absolutely love this and everything about this. I did an entire rant about my own headcanons/suggestions/ideas about this concept on Bird Keeper Toby's video, so all I'm going to say here is that I love the way you meshed everymon together, making sure they segued into other Pokemon that would be helpful in a situation where one needs care. Like Heatmor's flame heating up Sandile with its fire. I love that!! I like the idea of Pokemon Trainers having Pokemon that they use simply for helping around the house or taking care of themselves/other Pokemon/other people. I think about things like this a lot. What Pokemon work well together? Which ones don't? Do I need to have this trainer live somewhere outdoorsy or will that hurt their Pokemon? And other things.

Please provide reptile like pokemon with a room with what is called a gradient heat. Meaning, on one side it's normal room temperature, and on the other side is heating lights/heaters/heating pads (under things PLEASE. Do NOT leave just heating pads around. Put them under stones and such), with adequate space between them that the transition is not sudden. The entrance to the room is best on the room temperature side. Water should be kept on the cooler side, and food kept in whichever side they prefer eating on. You'll be able to figure that out because most will simply...move the food to that side or area. Despite what many seem to believe, just going from hot to cold is very bad for reptiles. Also, avoid direct heating implements like heating stones or uncovered heating pads. These can cause serious burns if they should short. Shedding pokemon, including reptiles, will also do well to have a "humid box", a mostly enclosed space they can fit into that you keep sprayed down with water daily. This will help them with shedding as well as keep their semi-exposed eyes moistened. (Herps are some of my favorite animals in real life. Tending to them is something I quite enjoy)

This video is also an example why Trainers need to have enough money to even start a journey and become a full fledged trainer irl. I think the sponsorships in Galar are a really good financial system for trainers as Pokémon battles are in it's essence, Sports & Entertainment. Wish they implement sponsorships more in later gens.
