Matchmaking is so weird. I have been fighting teams of 2/3 & 4 stars. And i'm a 6 star! It feels no different from when i was 4/5 star. When everyone is a 6 star. Nobody is.

The problem still is how stupid the game still make the rooms... Im a 4 star (solid), and reach 5 star eventually. I was able to reach 5 star only playing sweaty loadouts (Lebel most of the time). I almost only play against people with higher skill elo (5 and 6) and i dont understand why. When i started i was a 3 star... The game forced me to play against of 5 stars like... for MONTHS. My KD at the time was like 0,6 or something. It was IMPOSSIBLE.

Take a look at the ELO ranges. Now 6 star covers 2000 points More than 3, 4 and 5 combined. That's why everyone that was artificially put in 6* can't derank easily

​@@BrenoAmadoif bullet drop is the base of that hope, forget it. People will use spitzer to mitigate the bullet drop as much as possible. Dolch FMJ will be probably gone (I hope so) and bullet drop will nerf uppercut and uppermat at longer ranges. But I guess meta addicts will find out how to circumvent that problem in less than a week

@@mahockey3 spitzer only mitigates the problem on long ammo rifles. Meta Shotgun players will need to find alternative to the uppercut because according to KZbin videos of Crytek uppercut will no longer one tap downed hunter and will have bullet drop at 15m

I'm a 5 star solo player, so I usually go against 4 and 5 stars. I ended up in a lobby with all 6 stars, but there was no difference in quality of opponent. By the way they played, I assumed they were 4 stars lmao

Bullet drop will have zero functional effect if you're roughly 40-50 meters or closer, so fights in the same compound will not be any different than they are now unless you're shooting from one end of Port Reeker to the other. Bullet drop is only going to affect people who snipe at very long distances

How to adapt step 1 : play with long ammo spitzer + dolch fmj. Step 2 be lucky u dont get headshot every peak against 3.5 kda nerds. Step 3 : go play something else. Step 4 : uninstall hunt . Step 5: cry about recent mmr changes on reddit and Hunt Discord. Step 6 : wait and hope for changes because otherwise there won't be step 7...

the majority of hunt players really got the short end of the stick on this last mmr change. all the low 4 stars are getting a taste of what fighting 3.5 kd nerds is like and now the low to mid 5 stars just get to fight the 3.5 kd nerds all the time now.

Sometimes, hornet, I think you're cheating. Some of the earlier clips in this video I was certain of it. Looks like some aimbotty kind of steadying software. it's just genuinely crazy how shady some of his shots are. I could lay out timestamps of each time he's headshot someone who was practically invisible and out of audio range. I have no stake in this whole "cheater/legit" argument, but I would absolutely love to know if he's just lucky+skilled or if it's subtle cheats. Either way, it's no question he has the gamesense, but it's usually those who know the game the best who are able to disguise cheating the most. Hope he's legit but these shots are insane

@@Verrrn_99 I think I died to its mele attack once tbh, I don't really remember being killed by throw of the spear, but jesus Christ this shit is insane. It's everywhere, literally everyone is using this damn stick. I'm tired of seeing it in KZbin, in my teammates loadouts, in my enemies loadouts. This one damn stick just made 5 items non existent and probably punched the use of main slot melee weapons tho they aren't used as much anyway. I'm frustrated by how fucking ridiculous they made this bullshit weapon and we have to play with it for almost another month at this point
