How to Adapt to Change in the Workplace

Change and uncertainty dominate today's workplace.
It feels like we're working in chaos!
We get stressed and overwhelmed with all the change in business and in life.
In this video, I share 6 important tips that can help you adapt to change in the workplace.
But we must first understand the root cause of all the change happening to our workplace. And that has a lot to do with what is known as entropy. The more people we have in the world, the more actions they take, the more complex things get. Many businesses are under severe pressure from customers, shareholders, competitors, stakeholders and regulators. This causes business leaders to shift strategy to keep the business alive and well.
What that means for us is that we need to accept that change is here to stay and has become even more pronounced. And learning to adapt to change is not easy but it needs to be done if we're going to survive and thrive in this new world.
So, here are 6 tips to adapting to change in the workplace that can help you grow, develop and succeed in navigating our turbulent times.
One of the most important is: Let Go of the past way of working. Yes, it was better back then. I'm with you. But we have to let go of the way it used to be and accept the way it is.
