How To Add A Hover Effect To Team Member Bios In Divi

I have followed this tutorial several times in different attempts to get the background hover layer effect over the image. Even though text and icon is working according to the tutorial, no background ever seem to show. It seems like the background will always be behind the picture instead of it being on top of it. Would you know what the problem would be?

I do not now and have never seen the row sizing option to make the row a fullscreen. I'm not sure why I don't have it.

Hi, I need some help.. ! I redid the tutorial several times, but each time, when I hover the paragraph, it shifts the next section down ... would you have the solution to ensure that the paragraph opens gradually without shifting the following sections? Because this is quite ugly... thank you !

Ditto. The background is going behind the image, so it puts the text over the image. And, if the text is black and the image is dark, well, you're screwed. I used to get all my templates from these guys and am stuck on a client's site using this theme. Looks like they don't care anymore to support their own youtube channel. Check out Brizy, at least they offer support.
