How To Add A Lining and Magnetic Snap To A Crochet Handbag

Sew on magnetic bag button snap (18mm, silver) WAFMAF 10 set sew in magnetic snap (Amazon # B07VRVVY37)
Fabric Quarter - (FQ) - color to match handbag
Sewing thread - color to match handbag
Scissors
Sewing needle
Sewing pins

I attached my magnets just like you did. I had to take them back off, however, because the magnets were so strong, I had to dig my nails between them to get them apart. I was going to use the bag as a gift, but not with instructing people to have to pry it apart with their nails. When you repeatedly opened and shut yours, I'm willing to bet that you did not have the magnets snapped shut. Or if you did, could you give some advice on how to part them that easily?

So sorry to hear about what happened with the magnets. Thank you for reaching out to me. The magnets I used in the tutorial worked fine for me to open and closed the purse. Did you use the brand of magnets I used in the tutorial? The only thing I could think of or assume is different brands of magnets have different strength or (power). 🤔

@@crochetandcopy I got the magnets from amazon and all it says on the bag is Made in China. I don't believe you specify the brand in or under your video. The way yours snap together sure sounds strong. Anyway, thank you for answering.
