Thank you, I was just going to ask this. Though I want to take the centre of my front and match my backing because I have a large framed section on my backing and I want the frames to match. My local quilt shop has suggested I quilt the centre first then cut to size to match the backing. I haven’t basted yet, though my backing and batting are clamped down. I’m still trying to work it out in my head. I am hand sewing this queen sized reversible quilt.
