The light by the door? Take it down clean it up. Spray paint it black. Put it back together, rehang. Didn't think I was going to like the gray color, but once you got it all put together, two thumbs up. 👍👍

Hi Amy, the shutters and front door looks gorgeous I love that color, and power washing does make a difference, we just had our whole house done and boy does it make a difference. Dear Sweet Amy - What a good idea to remind us about curb appeal. I hardly ever see anyone on utube addressing this and its so important. I love your changes. So nice. My house has a lot of aspects to it. It is a sort of comtempory style with skylight windows in the front and rough cedar and brick. The cedar has to be stained, the doors and garage door, facial boards and eaves need to be painted. Recently I picked out colors and had painters come. The colors were pretty but something was just off. I couldn’t figure it out but i was not happy. A lady at my church is a genius with colors and also an interior decorator. She came over and changed the door color, made a slight change to the garage door and under the eaves which I would have never thought mattered or even showed. The result was wonderful. She is a genius. And yes, be careful of wasps. I got stung a couple of weeks ago and it took a whole week to heal and it was painful that long too. I am still praying for your mom, dad and Debbie. I hope they are feeling the Lords presence. Little girl, I have to report that I am having problems. I started having double vision really bad about a week ago. I went to my neurologist Wed and he was disappointed that my Myasthenia Gravis is progressing faster than he would like. He put me on some new med that he cannot guarantee will improve the vision but it necessary to slow down the disease. I have had trouble with this drug before but he is starting me on a low dose. Also this drug will compromise my immune system. My hope and trust is in the Lord and if he has allowed this in my life then its for a reason. I am so blessed for no other reason that he sent me a savior when I could not save myself. BTW, how precious that your daughter thought of that verse. She has been raised in the love and admonition of the Lord!.Love in Christ, sweet sister.

The curb appeal looks so beautiful! Love the new color of front door and shutters. Using the power washer is so satisfying! I had mine out yesterday power washing my cement driveway. It sure does make a difference. Getting wet and spattered with dirt is ok, especially when it was so hot outside!

What a difference the rocks made by just moving a little. Looked like hard work. The color looks great. I was really surprised how good the door handle and lock came out with spray paint. Love the dogs appearances!!

Looks nice. We found that the Rust-Oleum spray paint works great for our shutters. Then to go back and finish the screws my husband holds a board next to house for any over spray. Unless it is a color I would happen to choose that can't be in the spray paint I will never brush our shutters again 😂. We may invest in a sprayer just in case.

Your style is so much like how I like to decorate. I would dearly love a covered front porch but we have an awning I can’t leave out in windy weather. I have to put things out that can withstand a lot of sun in summer. And thank you for your verses of the day. I do my devotions in the early morning and there is always a verse of the day that keeps me going. I use the YouVersion Bible so I can hear the Word too. I began using it a couple of years ago when I had an eye melanoma treated and cataracts and couldn’t read for a few weeks. I am looking forward to your Spring decorations.
