Hi there! Looks like a great widget. However I'm inputting my facebook page URL and it's saying there's no reviews to show. Filters seem correct and there's nothing on the fb page which should be stopping them. Is the widget still functioning? EDIT: Got it working eventually after clearing cache and resetting the filters again. Cheers..

Hi Elfsight! Why is the fb author name and picture not showing up even it's already enabled on review to display options?
@Elfsight3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Unfortunately, Facebook has made some changes to their privacy settings. At the moment displaying profile picture and username depends on the Facebook profile settings of a user. We're really sorry for the inconvenience!

Do the reviews update automatically after setup? Or do you have to add them manually?
@Elfsight4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Our apologies for the long wait. All reviews will be automatically updated in the widget.

Just a tip: Wanting to have access to be able to post and manage ads on my Facebook page is a massive nope. I was going to go ahead and use this, but that is massively off putting. This isn't shown in the video, but I had this appear when I just tried it out, and it said that if you turn it off the widget probably won't work properly.

Hello! We are terribly sorry you have a feeling of distrust for Elfsight service, however, let us explain why Facebook authentication is safe via our service. To provide Elfsight users with the functionality of the Facebook Reviews widget we need to use Facebook API. To assure our clients we would be glad to ask only for limited access to their Facebook accounts, however, there’s no such option for developers yet to select particular features of the Facebook API, required for the app functionality. We use Facebook API only for automatic pulling reviews (to display reviews on clients’ websites) and searching comments by the required filters (customers can choose which ones to display). We deeply appreciate our clients’ privacy and don’t perform any actions on behalf of the customers' accounts: so we don't see any information, post, edit or do any other Facebook actions. In case you have any other questions or concerns about how Elfsight widgets work on WordPress, you can always contact us and we’ll be delighted to help you!

Thanks for getting back with this amount of detail. All the interaction on here and videos demonstrating how to use this is all great and really helpful. I was just put off by what seems like an invasion of privacy. I'm still looking for a good way to implement reviews so I might still go ahead and use this thank you

@@dgm_productions We really care about users' privacy and we do our best to make the entire process as transparent as possible - however, there's no such option for our developers yet. Thus, when it comes, we'll update the privacy policy& terms of the widget. As for implementing reviews, feel free to try the widget - there are lots of customization options and the reviews automatically pulled in. If you need not only Facebook reviews on your website, you will also enjoy our new widget - All-in-One Reviews (elfsight.com/all-in-one-reviews-widget/) Don't hesitate to contact our Support Team, if you need free installation help. We'll be happy to help! 🙂

Is free package works for life time or may charge money after some days or months?
@Elfsight5 жыл бұрын
Hi Wazir, Thank you for your interest in Elfsight Apps! We provide free Lite plan that is not limited either in time or in functionality. That means that you can test the app you’ve chosen for as long as you are good with views limit. Views are a number of times a widget gets loaded on your page, here's some more information about views - elfsight.com/blog/2017/06/views-new-crucial-metric-elfsight-apps-account/ . However, if this limit is not enough, you are very welcome to choose the most apropriate paid plan for you. If you have other questions, please, let us know. Have a nice day!

@@Elfsight Does the 200 views in the free edition comes with the time validity? Such as 200 Views per day?
