what kind of film can the camera take? can it be the Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400sp Film, 35mm or will it take any type of film?

Hi! Any brand works for it as long as it’s a 35mm film but that’s what the camera takes. Kodak is one of the basic but most affordable option. Good for beginners. Just make sure that you set the ISO correctly on the camera. If the film you buy say 200 iso, then set the camera to 200 iso otherwise your pictures will come out bad.

Can you open the back once you have done this? Or will it mess up the film?

you can only open it when you wind the film back once you shot through all of it

Hi, you’re not exposing the film to light when doing this. When you get to the point where you’re clicking on the button to take a picture, that is when the film is rolling. Once you get to the part where you’re at shot 1, that’s when you can’t reopen the camera because then it’ll be exposed.
