Thanks brother! Love your videos. I have a 2002 ML500 with 321,000mi and it’s still a bad azz nice looking ride. My recent issue is BAS/ESP light stays on. Tech say the sensor is bad. Any tips on finding it and installing myself? Thanks.

What kind of problems do you have with this unit when it is very very bright outside?
@iRepairAutos4 жыл бұрын
I haven't experienced any. It automatically adjusts its brightness to ambient light.

How did you hook up the unit on the SLK? It does not have the rectangular OBDII under the dash but a circular 38 pin connector in the engine compartment. I bought a circular to 16 pin rectangular connection cable from China and a ELM bluetooth code scanner which might work for this but now fear attaching them in case they cause electronics problems with the car's systems.

Im not sure. Chinese products are not guaranteed. Proceed at your own risk.

Off topic but need help ASAP. I had all front suspension bushes replaced after 100 K miles on my 1999 SLK. Now climate control just puts out hot air, very hot air, even when dials all blue mode. What could he have disconnected or done to cause this?
@iRepairAutos4 жыл бұрын
Possible, Refrigerant leak, possible disconnect of ac compressor.

it's "Powertrain" related to the camshaft phasers... low oil pressure on passenger side caused by failed tensioner, right? What sort of work has been done on this engine??? What engine oil do you run usually w20, w30 or w50? ✌🏾
@sergeinkolov30154 жыл бұрын
@@glasser2819 w30 oil change, camshaft position magnet change, only these . burned after these events . thanks

@@glasser2819 What can I do, I would be happy if you help me
@glasser28194 жыл бұрын
@@sergeinkolov3015 what you're going to do to your engine is up to your judgement because you have complete history, mileage and information. Since you report changing the sensor with no joy, then must be either the solenoid or the phaser unit itself. See if your engine is affected by blown passenger chain tensioner because this will affect the available camshaft oil pressure. 10W30 oil is a good viscosity or 15w40 if the engine is older to keep up oil pressure with leaky bearings, specially passenger side which is (purposely) designed imbalanced 🙄

Bro. Keith this HUD looks nice but beware that it may be slowing down data Xfers on your CAN Buses. You should scan all the CAN modules to see if HUD upsets them more than they already are before MadeInChina plugins. 👍🏾
