I would remove all the electrical connections and clean them real good and spray with some battery termination spray.

I have a very similar lift gate on my box truck and it’s stuck in the up position. It won’t go down. I lifted it too high and it bent up the deck a little bit and now it’s stuck in the closed position. Has this happened to you? How can I get it unstuck?

this problem is regarding the solenoid, if you hit the solenoid with a hammer (not to hard) you can see it working again.
