excelent, but you may considerer that isnt posible proyecting a esferical surface in a bidimensional surface or viceversa without to have mistakes en la proyection of the shape and area of the surface´s figures

I’m also confused on how you did the visualize as sphere thing since I’m using AutoCad 2019. When I do it, the whole sphere turns blue

It's simple.. Make sphere then mapping image of earth. Resize and set ...give background image to Autocad ...and used orbit to spinning earth

anket kamtekar I made the image I want to put on the sphere 1 to 1 like u did. Then, when I did visualize as a sphere, the whole sphere turned blue.

You have to set texture image perfectly with the size..
