Hi Emma, Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. My banner and buttons on Updates turned out perfectly and I've had others ask me to show them how to it as well. I direct them to your video! I have a question for you. I am trying to do the exact same banner and interactive buttons announcement on a Groups page for a College & Career Group. When I go to paste them into Updates, there is no bell to click on to paste. I can't figure out how to make it work. Any tips? We want the whole school to be able to find all College/Career links at this one site. Any input would be so appreciated! Thank you.

Our district is new to Schoology. I will be training others how to do this so I'm trying to figure it out myself first. I created a table and followed the instructions just like you said, but when I paste it to an announcement there is a huge gap between the banner and the link buttons. What am I doing wrong?

Not necessarily. Just remember that when you create table make it 6 columns and when you drop the circles the size will automatically adjust. Great question.

Hi, I purchase all my clipart on Teachers Pay Teachers. Those are actually two different ones that I placed together. They are not sold together. I usually put the credits on the last page of each resource.

Thank you for this. My question is that I have done this with an announcement just as you described. I didn't include links, I just wanted a picture to show up as the annoucement. It worked on the laptop. However, when I looked the Schoology App on my phone or ipad, the image would not display. Any suggestions? It is a large empty space.

It depends. If you are using the same folder then no but if it will be in a different place then yes. I have found that if you have it saved in your google docs then it's easy to just change the links that way.

Hi Emma! Do these instructions also work on "Add a Page" on Schoology? I was able to create a landing page like you showed for "Announcements" but I am a Dual Language teacher and I am trying to separate some of the folders by Language. So I figured it would be a good idea to "Add a page" with buttons with links for my English and Spanish class. The header on the "Add Page" does not align with my buttons. But the links on the buttons do work! So I am thinking that I might be doing something wrong.

Also I'm wondering if maybe a screen shot of the icons instead of saving it as a picture would work better. If you do take the screen shot make sure to capture it as close to the icon as possible so that there is not a lot of white space around. That could be making them be all spread out.

@@gloriajuarez4975 I have done this customizing for many teachers at my school. Sometimes there are days when I paste on Schoology and follow the same steps and it doesn't load at all. I then try the next day the same procedure and it works. I think it's a schoology glitch.

The header and icons is put in updates so kids see that whenever they log in. Yes you can link the button icons to other courses, folders or sites.

It is tricky. Make sure you're clicking on the top middle of the table. It always takes me like 3 intents to get it right.
