I don't understand how TikTok claims that I have Copyright issues My problem is that If I use TikTok soundtracks it's just a mess. There's a world out there where you can make or get noncopyrighted music.

Hmm, I'm looking for a specific scenario and it seems like no one is taking about it. So I want to add a specific song (let's say Imagine Dragons - Enemy, just as an example) but when I go to Tiktok, upload my video then search for that specific song to go with my video, Tiktok is giving me only 1 minute of it BUT not the part that I want. When I create my video I'm editing it with a specific part of a song in mind. For example when I'm revealing something would be awesome to sync with a specific drop from the song. Now, I've noticed other tiktok'ers that ARE using the same song from Tiktok's library, but their video is perfectly synced with the music and the part they are using is not available in tiktok's library. This only means they have edited the video on their end with music included and they fully uploaded the video + the song. Normally, this will fall in the category of using your own music and on the bottom right corner your picture of a vinil should appear, but no, it shows up as official Imagine Dragons music. How are they doing that? It's really important for me to respect the guidelines but at the same time to create qualitative content. Lastly, videos that are using official tiktok music have more chance of getting discovered by the algorithm... If anyone can answer, would be highly appreciated!!!

Similar to YT, tiktok uses a song ID tool and database to recognize copyright music before it is publicly uploaded so it can be muted if it is infringing the song owner's rights.. Unfortunately I do not know a solution other than using music approved for commercial use.

Did u figure it out? I'm having the same issue. I even credited the song artist in the video hoping they'd let me upload but both times they muted me. And TikToks commercial library sucks 💩..

@@rog5406 If you include the music in the video and disable copyright check it will upload but if it gains traction and is reported it will likely be claimed by the owner so it's only useful for gaining likes and follows and that's it. It's untelling how a copyright strike on your account affects the algorithm but I imagine it does.

Hi idk if you’re still looking for an answer, but what I do for this is I make my video with the part that I want and the music included in that video, then before I upload it on tiktok, I press the add sound feature and add that sound over my video as well. Then I just mute the sound that I added so that the part of the song that I wanted is still a part of my video, and I am also crediting the original artist too. Let me know if that’s confusing

You need to keep adding the audio in veed until it lasts for the duration of the video. The audio will just loop back to the start when it reaches the end

Exactly....I'm having the same problem. I've even tried using the same music that is on older videos that TikTok approved already. Now they won't approve it. They give me a copyright notice. I posted a 5 part series. All were OK but the last one. I keep getting a copyright notice everytime (tried 7 times) no matter were I get the copyright free music come from.

First of all.. NOOOO!! You’re 100% wrong. The first method does NOT work. Let me explain. For this example I’m using Nipsey Hussle Grinding All My Life. I see others using it but I can’t. When I click on ADD SOUND at the top and search for it, NOTHING by the artist appears. Whys this the case when I see others using that song?? This has gotta be one of the most frustrating things ever!!

Have you tried adding the music first and then the video? If you add the video first and your video clip it's shorten or longer than the music soundbite it won't load. It's a weird bug on TikTok. By adding the music clip first, you can get around this. A second option is download the song then adding it to your video on VEED, when you upload it to TikTok it will be an 'original sound' which allows others to use your audio and it might actually help your growth on TikTok.
