Another pro tip for some super clean up…. If you delete the images you downloaded from steam grid db after you have set them up on steam they will stay like that even if you delete them from the trash

Hey appreciate ya watching man! As for the courage, you could always fire it up briefly and just click around a bit to get used to the interface at least :) It's very similar to Windows or Mac or other desktop operating systems and pretty approachable for the most part!

Hey! Great video! I would love to add Alien versus Predator 2 and its expansion pack Primal Hunt on the Steam Deck, since these aren’t natively on Steam. The first AVP is on Steam and playable on the Steam Deck. The second game includes two discs. Would this be an issue?🤔

I can't say for sure as I haven't tested a HUGE range of games with this, but it's certainly worth a shot! Worst-case it doesn't work and you might be able to look up specific titles within the Steam Deck subreddit to see if there are any tips to the specific games you're trying to install outside of Steam :)

Great. So all you have to do is get the Exe files? Does that work on any games on CD from Windows 95? Because they might be much easier than trying to get a Windows 95 VM to work on deck.

Hello bro.. Nice video here, but i wanna ask u.. What if I install some games on PC or lappie then I copy to steam deck, can we play it? Is there any specific steps or tutorial for this method? Should u play cracked game on SD card or internal memory (SSD)? I ask this because there are some offline game I wanna play. And that game is no longer supported by dev.

Appreciate it! AS for your questions it's hard to say as every game's installation requirements are different. As for cracked games I'm not sure as I've really only installed like fan-made projects and whatnot. ALTHOUGH, I may try to get the fan-modified version of Silent Hill 2 working which might be similar and if that goes well I'll probably make a new video with my findings :)

It probably depends on the title, but I've used the same method for others as well and it worked like TMNT Rescue Palooza :)

I believe so, but I THINK you have to do it from the desktop version of Steam so you might have to reboot into that. Glad to hear it was helpful :D

You can't do it on that side but if you open up properties (like how you change the name) you can then change the icon by pressing the icon on the side next to the name and it will allow you to choose one. But you have to do it in desktop mode still

I haven't tested it recently but yes, you should still be able to add non-steam games and alternate marketplaces, though if any of my videos don't allow for it you might seek out some updated ones :)

also - my fav way to add artwork is to use the Decky launcher with SteamGridDB. Not sure if you've seen that but its awesome. You can basically change and add artwork directly from steamgridDB in the same game settings menu where the properties are located. Gametechplanet has a great video on the subject titled "Steam Deck - NEW Decky Loader Plugin - EASY Custom Artwork in Game Mode". anyways - thanks for making a video on this!

Thanks for the Video. I have tried different ways to install Dead Dpace Remake vio Origins but it doesn't run well. But the Steam Version seems to run fine. Anyone know how to do that properly? And is there another way for Game Pass? Because via Edge tied to Steam library doesn't work well for me. It always messes up the controls.
