I have an almost identical mini chainsaw that I bought from Aldi (NSW, Australia). Damn thing doesn't have ANY oil reservoir. I have to manually oil the chain! Crazy! BASICally: 💻 10 Use it for a minute or 2 20 Stop 30 Oil it 40 GOTO 10

These things are fairly cheap

Is it a self oil system? Or do you have to press the button for it to oil ?

Manufacturers and sellers advertised them as automatic oiler (if the mini chainsaw has an oil reservoir), but they are not automatic like the regular chainsaws. You have to squeeze the primer bulb until the oil is filled somewhat inside the bulb, frequently between cutting sessions. Squeezing the primer bulb will eventually pressurize the oil reservoir to squirt the oil out and on to the chainbar. My mini chainsaw has the so-called automatic oiler, but to make sure the chain is adequately oiled, I just squeeze oil directly onto the chain from a bottle. Hope this helps.

It doesn’t come with the oil but it comes with that little itty-bitty bottle so you have to buy the oil separate and then fill the bottle up and then squirt it in

Or you get a small funnel and skip the cap sucking.

That would work too, I think

Why you didn't just use a funnel and pour it into the chainsaw?????

They gave that little bottle to use, but that’s a good idea
