As soon as I created the local repository, it asked me to save what I was working on, and then the files disappeared from Eclipse. What happened? The files are in the local repository, but if I try to bring them back into Eclipse it tells me the folder is already imported. Great videos, by the way.

Hmm, I don't know why. Try importing the project from File > Import > existing project...

File > Import > Git > Projects from Git > Clone URI [ OR ] File > Import > Git > Projects from Git > Existing local repository
