Very pretty colors. Great tip on starting small. My first tumbler was a big 20oz and I still have not finished. It was taking so long and I used 2mm stones 🤦🏾‍♀️

Hi, I hand wash the outside and inside and then dry it right away, but I never put in a dishwasher.

I came across the blog post that had a suggested quantity of gems to cover a 20 oz tumbler. It said packs of 1440 gems such as, 1 pack of ss20, 1 pack of ss16, 1 pack of ss12, 1 pack ss6 and a pack of mixed sizes should work but now that i have the packs infront of me, i don't think i have enough.

Sanding an objects allows the glue to have something to "hold on".

Looked up tutorials on this method after seeing this on a 20oz on a fb page and loved it. I wanna start working w/tumblers and of course agree that starting w/a smaller project is a better idea to get my own technique down and the hang of things. Question: after the rhinestones are finished are you not supposed to go over with epoxy or am I getting that confused w/other methods? I thought you'd need something to basically seal it I reckon. Sorry this is so long. TIA.

Hi there, definately do not seal the rhinestones with anything as that will dull them and cause them to lose their shine and sparkle.

I am just starting out with this kind of craft but I have been told time and time again when using the liquid fusion or any of the glues that you want your glue to hug up around the rhinestone like its literally giving it a hug all the way around the base of the crystal? Now I am hearing thats wrong on here so I'm super confused lol I literally have been watching a ton of tutorials and I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all the different ways you are supposed to do this loll

Hi there, I think everyone just has their unique way of how they do it and it doesn't necessarily mean that one way is right or wrong, it's just everyone finds the way that works best for them. I recommend just trying a smaller simple project and trying some different techniques until you find what works best for you. Do you go all the way to the top? My tumbler I have is 16oz and it doesn't have a lip ring and of course I saw this video too late and half way through placing rhinestones in honeycomb ugh

I did go all the way up and I just use a straw when I drink out of it so my bottom lip doesn't go on the rhinestones
