My side tank reservoir is not draining. It's not a tube line issue. I looked inside the side reservoir down into the bottom gray part (the gray base) and I am not seeing any hole for the water to drain into to find its way to the tube. Can anyone tell me whether they have a hole down INSIDE the gray base of the side tank reservoir? I need to confirm whether I received a defect.

Just got mine today. Cleaned it with a tablespoon of clorox mixed with water and then flushed it 4 times. Washed the tub. Not using the side container yet. Filled water to the water line. Started making ice immediately, then after maybe 5-10 minutes it start dripping/leaking water into the tub with ice in it. Is it suppose to do this? Will it do this everytime? Anyone else have this issue? Did I get a lemon? I'd appreciate any comments of what it could be and what resolved it. Thank you. Scott

yeah I agree the GE opal is on the expensive side, they do run sales on it around the holidays.
