I used this method but somehow no smell of comfort conditioner is coming out from clothes. I assume it got used in first wash cycle only. I might have to try pouring it just before rinsing.

Washing machine is dispensing water through this comforter compartment during wash cycle.(we can see during every rotation small amount of water is dispensed ) So my question is this conditioner will get washed away in first wash cycle itself then whats the use??
