somehow i managed to do this first try! im making a kandi mask and i have pretty short arms so i didn't get the right amount of string, so i had to find a way to add more!! this tutorial helped ty vickyyy

I normally get it from Jolly Store crafts on etsy but they are sold out! Here is some similar string I found from a seller I haven't tried that seems to be in stock. The key is so search for 1mm elastic string. www.etsy.com/listing/778103490/diy-crafts-beading-bracelet-mask-elastic

lol my honest reaction. grab the two strings, put them together, twirl both around your finger once (creating a lil circle) and put the end of it inside the circle. so just a basic knot but with two strings

do you do the same thing when using plastic lace that you would use when making a kandi mask because this knot is too bulky to fit through the beads using plastic lace

This method probably won't work with strings that thick. I reccomend to either use an extra long piece of string or use thinner string :)

Please help me im having a mental break down i cant get it tied it wont work its to slippery and im trying to make a mask and ive had to reatart 5 times because of this and this is the farthest ive gotten and i ran out of string and i dont wanna have to redo all of my work again

With slippery string, it is important to tug the ends of the knot while you tie it. Tug repeatedly with small firm tugs. This will tighten the knot. Careful not to break the strings!

I do recommend elastic cord because it isn't slippery and it's very durable 😁
