Thanks a bunch! If I'm not using spaces, I guess I'd need to start if I want this feature. Does it also show up in the calendar as a task?

Yes! As long as you assign it to the correct person and choose a due date, it will show up on that person's calendar.

I'm confused. If I go to the Google Tasks app, I am able to add a sub task.....

I totally understand your confusion. In 'My Tasks' within Gmail and also in the Google Tasks app, you can create sub-tasks, while within Google Spaces, you cannot. I don't know why Google has this limitation. For managing a team, Google Spaces is imperative, so you'd think they'd include the sub-task feature.

@andersonthefish ah understood. That is ridiculous! I haven't used Spaces yet so didn't realise. Are tasks made in spaces only available in the spaces, or do they also appear in Tasks?

@@simongrove2369 Tasks made in Spaces will also appear in Tasks, as long as they're assigned to you. But you won't be able to see other tasks in Tasks.
