I just use tiktok. i put the video in, do the text and then press next. press the "select cover" thing and screen record the vid, then just cut the screen recording down. it takes a bit of time but its actually pretty easy :)

Pedantic typesetter here - those aren't fonts, they're typefaces. A font is a particular style, size, weight etc. so there can be many fonts within a typeface. Avenir is a typeface, for example. Avenir 24 point bold is a font within that typeface. And so on with italics and other modifications to the typeface. Commonly mis-used everywhere - except in the typesetting world. :)

You should be able to extend the duration of the title layer in the timeline to show however long you wish. Check out my Basics Tutorial video for more information.

All of my text (regardless of font) is in capitals. How can I change this to have lower case? My caps lock is not on. When you scroll over the options, they are not all capitalized however when choosing the font, all letters only come out capitalized.

This new iMovie does not allow you to skip to a new line like in a document and how it was possible in the old iMovie...WHY did Apple make this so complicated and change this? Which of these texts allows to add more text on a new line? And then HOW do you space each line, so it doesn't look so cramped?

Everything you mention is 💯 iMovie does things differently. If you want a better editing experience try CapCut for Mac. It’s free.

Hello master , I am making my first music video and I am wondering if you know how to add text boxes on the tittles...In the first box im trying to type the name of artist, next box name of song, next box name of composer, next box the recording studio and so on...the tittle options in imovie only give you the option for 2 typing boxes...
