nice but this is same as in java is any different way to do this ? like use auto binding { buildFeatures{ viewBinding true it is in gradle} means using databinding option. i use this code without variable define private lateinit var binding: ActivityMainBinding override fun onCreate(savedInstanceState: Bundle?) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState) binding = ActivityMainBinding.inflate(layoutInflater) setContentView(binding.root) binding.btnAdd.setOnClickListener { binding.tvAns.setText(binding.et1.text) but ca's able to do sum means i want et1 + et2 and show in tvans by click button
