This guy is a great teacher. He is so explicit to the extent that I immediately decided that I should practice what he lectured and I easily grabbed it perfectly well. Big thanks - I wasn't expecting this type of titling at all. He made it so cinematic and professional.

Hi! I successfully achieved the result I wanted by watching this video, however, failed to save it. As I am trying to repeat the same steps and be more cautious this time, I keep failing to scale the entire text to cover the whole video. It is not like the first time, as I was scaling the text, the black parts would not disappear, and the whole video pictures did not show but still got covered by the blacks. It has been over a week since I have been stuck at this stage.

Hi, really great tutorial but I have an issue: Since the video I'm using to be keyed inside the text is at a lower resolution (4:3, and my project setting is at 16:9) when I apply the matte key the text is changed to that resolution. Would there be a way of achieving the same result without the text being affected? *Edit:* Nevermind I found a simpler method, you can add an alpha adjust to the text and check invert alpha so it will behave the same without being constrained by the bottom video's resolution
@cineguac2 жыл бұрын
Or simply adjusting the scale of your 4:3 video clip should do the trick!

Quick Question: At 3:48 instead of showing how do a color gradient within the title, could you show us how to blend the title in with the background? So basically the goal would be that the black background would gradually disappear to reveal the rest of the scenery? That would be so appreciated!!

Put the original clip after the effect and put a default transition between them and they will fade into each other

Mine is doing something weird when it traditions to the color matte. It almost looks like a ghost text during the transition. Instead of the color matte appearing in the letters it floats on top, so for a split second there is two of my text. It’s not horrible looking but I have no idea what I did. I followed you exactly.
