When I google a business, it shows on google with all the details and address. It shows the business location on Google maps. But there is no icon floating above it as I search around on maps, exploring etc. if I add it on google maps, will it mess up something?

when you registered if you log back in with the correct google account it should still show the verification method as pending

So how can you tell how long a business has been on google maps or let’s say what date it was added on maps ?

Some times Google will show the date the business was established or how many years it was around. But more importantly domain authority - you could look at the Wayback Machine where you can explore more than 656 billion web pages saved over time - that gives a lot away about how long a business has been functioning see: archive.org/

Hi Win From my current understanding I believe Google my Business are slow and inundated with account suspensions, but due to a lot of issues Google are slow on any manual approval which may explain the long wait

Follow exactly the method shown here. Under Manage Business dashboard you will see Verification Required. I choose Postcard. But the postcard never came. Every week, google the address without signing in to your Google account to see if it is already listed. Mine got listed this way. Hahahahaha

@@ZanetDesign How do you edit google map so when someone on a cell phone shows up at a location he can see on his cell phone that the business is on the second floor and you have to go upstairs. The signage is not good so if they cannot see a physical sign- they leave.
