What about the feet? I have seen many teachers tell the feet should be together and not apart

I always cringe when I saw heels not planted on the ground. Some people stay on the tip of their toes or bend the knees which is less worst but bad too. I never do a downward facing dog if I'm not warm up. A good 15 minutes to warm up the back of my legs, despite the fact that I'm flexible. It's a popular pose for good reason but if you can't do that pose why force it ? There are litteraly a millon other poses you can do !
