Hey, we have the atom, however the adaptor for the car seat won't hold on. any idees? :(

Hard to say without actually working on the problem unfortunately. There's a spring loaded catch that should pop into place when the adapter is pushed all the way in (through the hole in the bars). I'd recommend watching Maclaren's instruction video again, and checking these catch mechanisms. :)
