Excellent video, Michael, that readily accounts for all possibilities regarding adjusting left and right stops. The official Toro instructional video makes no mention of how to move the stops "forward" and closer to the nozzle opening. Thanks for your time and effort.

Thanks for the video. Appreciate that you explained how to adjust the right edge. I was confused by how to adjust it...good to hear to just twist the entire stem counterclockwise. I didn't have issues with increasing the right span, just decreasing. Not sure if calibration was necessary from ground shifting or what. Great video with concise instructions.

Hi David, thanks for watching! The ground does shift, and also the gears sometimes slip and come out of adjustment. I also think the vibration of running and popping up and shutting down will rotate the head a little on it's connection fitting. That's why we recommend adjusting your system every year or so.

I had some other brand of heads once that had the same trip mechanism. Sometimes I found that I got the trip on the wrong side of the "ears". Mine is now set for 360. How do I know which side does the "trip'?

Hey Brian! Yeah, I still occasionally get a head with the limits reversed. Just make an adjustment and see which side adjusts if you have a question about it.
