There is no adjustment on the transmission side!. Only on the shifter knob.

Hi Auto Repair Guys, the car had shown "Input/Shaft Speed Sensor No Signal" error and was recently fixed. The professional was not speaking well English and all I understood is that the gear had to be adjusted to always send the signal to the "Input/Shaft Speed Sensor". I wonder could what you explained in the video be what he actually did to solve the problem. I would appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

With my shifter I noticing that I have to put it in Reverse twice in order to be sure. The first attempt always feels restrictive and the second goes smoothly. Would that be a potential cable issue?

Hi Auto repair guys. My hyundai sonata 2011 shifter is stuck neutral and drive. When my car reached full stop, it wont go into reverse even if i step the brake pedal. Thus, i cannot put it on Park as well. What i did was i removed the key while the shifter is in Neutral, then i start the engine again. It can move now to reverse and park. What could be the problem? Thank you

Did you re-attach the cable properly to the neutral safety switch? If it’s not or the switch is bad that could be it

If the gear shift will go into the gears while the engine is off but not while the engine is running, is it possible this is the cause?

Maybe, check your slave cylinder or clutch, could be both, I have your exact problem on my car that I’m fixing.
