They are all factory part’s that I had either chromed or polished by a local shop

You didn't adjust the TDC for cylinder 1.

Same basic engine, pre 86.5 they were carbureted and from then till 89 they were efi till they retired the Z24

Hey i did this …. But now my rpms will not go past 3,000 rpms almost as if it has a rev limiter. Can anyone please help? It has no power in the fwy

you probably adjusted them wrong. plus you have to be at TDC and I think the manual says to warm the engine up first before adjusting valves
