In this short video, I show how I adjusted the camber on my ~1970 IRS VW sandrail. This is not the proper way per se, however, it works well enough for the offroad application of the rail. Most of the time the reason the rear camber is off on a VW IRS suspension is because something is bent, however, my case is a little different as it was converted from single to dual spring plates and the plates used were custom-made and made wrong. If you have any questions for me please leave a comment and I'll try to answer it. Thanks for watching!

Those slots are to adjust toe. You have to reindex the torsion bars to change camber correctly.

I wish you would have shown the before and after of how much you were off, if it was just a little or a lot of adjustment that you did.

And then when you go bugging and bend your axle out of alignment against just rip all the rear axle parts out and replace them. WOW!! Or you can just put the beast up for sale and let the new owner suffer over the mess you just created. The right way would have been to get it where you wanted it and then drill out the plates for a bushing to slide in then bolt them back together.
