I love my cabinet. It rolls so easily and opens/closes so smoothly. I bought a wool press mat that seems made for the flap that opens to the right. Perfect. I got it in 2014 while I was still working and never bothered to make this fine adjustment for completely smooth surface - my machine dips a bit below the insert. Now that I am retired, I want all the smooth, all the conveniences. I'll be trying to get my machine 1/4" higher this week. Thanks for having this excellent video in place.

I am having an issue with loosening the upper screw on my Judy cabinet height adjustment. The bottom screw is loose enough, but the top one won't budge - not even with my husband's super strength. We're afraid that we'll strip the screw. Any advice? I just need less than 1/2" lower to be perfect!

We recently purchased the Aussie II. The lift panel is not level. It is about 1/8 inch above the top of the cabinet in the back left and below the top of the cabinet in the front right. This is causing the right leaf to not rest flat when the cabinet is closed and even more problematic, my custom insert will not fit correctly/flush. We noticed that when fully up, the metal piece (lift) that attaches to the platform panel (A4) hits the underside of the top of the cabinet but the right metal piece (lift) doesn't quite touch the underside of the cabinet. I've watched several of your videos but none seem to address this issue. Please help us level the lift platform. Thank you!

I love my new Harriet Arrow cabinet. I like the concept of the hydraulic lift. But it is sooooo stiff and is not friendly to folks less than 5 ft tall. If I can get it pushed all the way down for storage, I do not have enough leverage and strength for the additional push down to release the shelf back up for use.

You might want to lubricate the lift with WD-40 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYeohKWhjNqJlcU contact Arrow at 1-800-533-7347

Lynn says she is 5` 1". When she puts her arrow sewing chair all the way down. She can sit confirmable in front of a Harriet cabinet.

My daughter is 5'1" and I've had to buy step stools for her to reach the bottom of the washer and for getting things in the kitchen and pantry. I bet a heavy-duty step stool would give you the leverage you need - just 12" should do it. That and a few wall push-ups to warm up !

I recently purchased the Herriot cabinet. My problem is once the block was taken out of the left. The hydraulic part was too tight, and it could not be adjusted. The wires also could not be attached to the side. Arrow sent me a new one and I had the same problem.

My screws are stripped from delivery and I'm not able to adjust them to set up my acrylic table. What do you suggest?

Do you need to remove the machine before making the adjustment?
@arrowsewing Жыл бұрын
No you don't. But remember, Do not adjust it while in flatbed position. The lift needs to be in the free-arm or storage, while adjusting. I personal put the lift into free-arm position with a sewing machine on it, then I adjust the platform height mechanism.
