Does the tarnish rub off? I can imagine all the fronts of my aprons having brown streaks.

would this method have any affect on copper? I have a brass sink that has a bit of copper flash on it and a combination of the two would be a neat pattern.

Yes it works on copper

Wow! Love this! Would you need to coat them after with anything for protection or just leave them bare?

Curious too!

I think you can leave them and they will age even more but very slowly over time. If you want to keep the exact same look you have to coat them

I didn't do anything, but i suppose you could lacquer or poly them!

It looks like you might have trouble controlling the depth of color and consistency to keep all items the same color if you want say all your kitchen cabinet knobs the same color as each other. If you go too dark is there a brass cleaner to lighten the effects?

My UN Korea medal was very patchy bronze so I polished it back, to brass, looked good but I would now like to return it to bronze . How can I do this please.

I've done this to a 19th c brass candlestick using salt and vinegar encased in saran wrap. I got nice results. I also closed it inside box with a little vinegar and salt on the actual candlestick. The vinegar fumes cause patina and the salt was stuck to it. Its an experiment. I'm wondering if it could turn pink.
