Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Learned a lot. So glad you chose this, since it is one of my absolute favourite short stories. Also, I completely agree with paranoia being the single effect. It could also be mental instability as the narrator is constantly trying to convince us of his sanity but it instead just goes to show his madness.

Wonderful video! I learned a lot of things concerning text analysis and it opened my eye (pun not intended :D) to the world of literature and how to deal with a literary text. why is the theme not a moral or lesson? in most schools, the teachers taught the theme as a moral and a lesson. please explain it. thank you.

A moral dictates what a person should do or illustrates a course of action that's considered "right." Themes don't tell you what to do; they simply provide insight into what humans tend to do or how society operates.
