It's easier to screenshot with FireShot, an extension for Google Chrome. It captures the entire screen. : )

Protip, don't make 3 screenshots and stick them together, zoom out the website so it's super tall and then make a screenshot. Just cut it to 1920x4000

Nice and to the point tutorial. Would be really nice with a similar tutorial showing how to animate an iPhone screen showing off an app or something and with glossy glass effect on top etc. There IS a tutorial like that on KZbin but only showing a fixed image, no scrolling or anything.

Hello, I've actually being doing scrolling animations to promote IG pages. It's the same concept. I actually came to Ian's tutorial to see if he had a faster method. Take screenshots from your iphone, and you could mask them as Ian does in AE but I just create a large composition in photoshop and edit the layers that way. Animate everything in AE as he did here.

Because getting the timing right is next to impossible - trust me, i've tried. Doing it this way gives you 100% of the control over animation speed, and how everything flows. Recording your screen locks you in to only 1 option.
